    was a prominent political figure in New York, served as the chairman of the Bronx County Democratic party, effectively ruling as a political boss.   The phrase "In Like Flynn" is attributed to the fact that his selected candidates won elections.  He was a close associate of Franklin D. Roosevelt for many years.   The image shown is his signature on an official document and displays the appropriate signature features.
