2009 Oklahoma Tribal Vehicle Tax-Exempt Indian Tribe License Plate number TRB-026!
The original Oklahoma tribal tag!  Condition is excellent minus on a VERY LOW numbered plate.  There's no fading, dents, dings, laminate darkening or fading.  This plate has been in my private collection until I was offered TRB-008 in a trade, and switched them out.  At one time, 38 different Oklahoma tribes used this for their tribal vehicles.  As time went by, fewer and fewer tribes relied on them; as they issued their own tax-exempt vehicle plates.  Now, only five tribes still use them as far as I'm aware of.  This particular plate would have been issued originally in 1989; and moved from tribal vehicle to vehicle until its retirement in 2009.  From the beginning, these had pretty tight controls; as the state of Oklahoma was concerned about these getting into private hands.  So policies were set in place regarding disposal after usage, or if the plates became obsolete.  You can see the six different types/issues in the third photograph, and where it fits in.  Please see condition description and photos for details.  Thank you!
