Run It Performance is happy to announce another new product, the AeroFlow E85 Ethanol Content tester. This is a simple instrument from Aeroflow Performance which will allow you to determine the ethanol content of your fuel.
E85 fuel is not the same from one pump to another or one season to another. In fact some states have a minimal requirements of just 51% to call ethanol e85.
Let’s face it you wouldn’t buy E51 (51%) if you could go to the next gas station and get e85 (85%) for the same price right? The only real way to know if your getting what your paying for is to test.
Testing is simple! Simply add water to the first line as labeled, add fuel to the top line as labeled. Place cap on tester and shake. Wait for separation to take place (takes a min) and you will know exactly what your ethanol content is.
The tester is 6” long and 3/4” wide. This can be used over and over. It will fit in your glove box and most center consoles. It also comes with a storage tube to protect your tester when not in use.
