    Description

    This is a brooch/pin that I bought several years ago at a high-end boutique (I don't remember how much I paid but it wasn't cheap).  It is not signed but my understanding is that it was made by an artisan in New York who specialized in making new jewelry pieces from bits and pieces of high-quality old jewelry, metal findings, an occasional button or two and anything else she would find interesting to incorporate into her designs.  Her pieces are quality, well-made, and beautifully put together in beautiful designs.
    This brooch is done in shades of greens, dark red-brown, and golds.  The pieces are a mixture of glass, plastic abalone, and metal with the highlight being a Buddha in center.
    Measures 2 3/4" high x 2 1/2" wide.
    Excellent condition; no damage.
