DONNA CHAMBERS PENDANT
A little over 1” semi-circle Antique Carved Mother of Pearl Gaming Chip is framed
in 14 karat
yellow gold below two swirled bars of gold accented with two blue topaz rondelles
.
Subtle carved floral motif and beaded border adorn the gaming chip.
The pendant hangs
from a clasp complementing the beaded border of the gaming chip and allows multiple
looks for the pendant by hanging from gold chain, black silk cord, or as a pearl
enhancer on a strand of pearls.
Note:
The pendant is sold alone with no chain, cord, or strand.
This collection of jewelry has a distinctive Asian influence from the use of antique gambling chips.
The unusual artform of carved mother-of-pearl dates back more than 250 years in China.
These thin gaming chips were carved bearing the crests of British families or story symbols and were
used as elegant gaming counters. Donna's settings evoke the same elegance in 14 karat yellow gold.
