HIS is a GIESSEN US ARMY plaque dated 1970 - 1973 during the Vietnam war.
NAMED:
MSG ROBERT R. WARD
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PLAQUE AND APPROXIMATELY 44 years old.
The US ARMY moved into this base in 1945 and remained until the base closed in 2008.
While it was a large important base it was famous for only one thing:
