Description
A keg distribution cap comes equiped with multiple 1/2 inch hose barb adapters allowing you to fill up multiple kegs at once. Generally, the 1.5 inch cap will clamp directly at the outlet (we recommend a sight glass following your shut off valve) and fill two kegs at once. The larger 2 inch or 4 inch cap clamp easily to a bowl reducer (expander in our circumstances) at the end of your sight glass. You'll have something similar in appearance to a shower head, especially using our grande 4 inch x 8 hose barb adapter distributor. Prior to this adapter, it wasn't uncommon to see manifolds coupled with multiple single adapters. The problem with this setup: more expensive, and more importantly, substantially heavier placing more strain on all the fittings in the chain leading from the brite or fermenter tank.
