LARGE Pansy Flower Sterling Silver signed Stuart Nye handmade Pin Brooch vintage

This is a used/vintage sterling silver pin/brooch.
Handmade hammered/forged Pansy flower.
This piece is made by Stuart Nye but the markings on it are very faint. I can barely make out part of a sterling mark on one side of the flower. The clover mark is in another spot and I can only see a faint partial line for that.
On the other side of the flower is a hard to see mark that says "Patent NC" with numbers below it (also hard to make out but arrows points to it in photo). I have had may pieces of NYE jewelry in the past and this might be the first I have seen to have a patent number (maybe it is an older piece?).
Stuart Nye is an American jewelry maker (North Carolina) known for hand wrought pieces.
Size is about 1 3/4 inches long by 1.5" across.
Total Weight .23 ozt
Good used vintage condition; might need some cleaning/polishing and have some normal age ware.
Because my items are vintage/used they may have some signs of use/wear and/or be in need of some cleaning or polishing.
I have not tried to clean or do anything to the piece.
