Long ferrules are often used in tanks where the long design permits the ferrule to protrude through the clad layer of a jacketed tank to the interior of the tank. Like their shorter counterparts, long ferrules have a Tri Clamp end that connects to the rest of the Tri Clamp family of fittings, while maintaining a solid weld connection.
