NiSi S6 150mm Filter Holder Kit with Landscape CPL for
standard Lens Threads (105mm, 95mm & 82mm)
lens is designed for landscape photographers who want to combine an ultra-wide-angle lens with a filter system that supports multiple filters. This S6 Filter Holder allows the use of an integrated circular polarizer and up to two 150mm wide, 2mm thick filters without vignetting. This kit features an aluminum alloy filter holder that accommodates two rectangular filters. The S6 features a new locking system to lock the main filter holder in position. The integrated wheel can be easily rotated to lock the holder in place with a locking system that feels natural and is easy to use. The filter holder kit's included lens dedicated adapter ring fits over the integrated hood of the lens, its screw-in locking pin providing a reliable and sturdy connection to the lens. The lens adapter ring accommodates the included Landscape Circular Polarizer Filter, which provides a saturation effect approximately 25% greater than a standard circular polarizer. When combined with the adapter ring, the landscape polarizer filter can be rotated independently of the rectangular filters in the holder by using the external dials on the adapter ring.
The kit's filter holder can then be attached to the adapter ring. After being fitted onto the adapter ring, the entire filter holder can be rotated 360°, permitting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. Each filter slot is designed to grip an installed filter only along the filter's edges. Contact with a filter's front- or rear-facing surfaces is avoided.
