Description

2006 Oklahoma Northern Cherokee Nation Indian Tribe License Plate number NC-120.
This embossed steel plate is in mint condition.  It apparently was issued, but never placed on a vehicle.  This is considered by many as one of the small number of Holy Grail Indian tribal plates!  The Northern Cherokee Nation, which is not federally recognized, petitioned the State of Oklahoma to offer the plate as a specialty if the mandatory pre-paid applications were turned in by the deadline.  Only approximately 150 were made in 2005 before pressure from the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma got the State of Oklahoma to shut down production.  They are now virtually impossible to obtain, and almost all are now in permanent collections around the world.   Must see condition description and photos to fully appreciate.  Thank you!
