This Face Shield is compatible with
most 3 Snap Button
type of motorcycle helmets including
all of the 3 Snap Button helmets that we sell.
It is compatible with both Shorty (Half) and 3/4 Motorcycle Helmets. Keep in mind this item will not mate up with Helmets that use a Screw-On type of Visor (such as Harley Davidson branded half helmets). It is made of a high quality, impact resistant, polycarbonate material.
This Visor Shield is a combination short (fixed) Sun Visor and flip up Face Shield. If your helmet already has a short sun visor, just snap it off and snap on this combo Sun Visor/Face Shield in it's place.

This Shield exceeds the VESC-8 Safety Standard for motorcycle face shields.
The Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission (VESC) was
created by Congress to assist states in creating rules, regulations or codes, embodying performance requirements or restrictions” for items of motor vehicle equipment."
NOTE:
The two outer snaps are movable and are mounted in horizontal slots that give approx. 1/4" leeway in either directions (L and R). The center snap is fixed.
You can see this using the zoom feature in photo no. 1.
The distance from the center of the Left or Right snap (when it is centered in it's 'horizontal slot'), to the center of the fixed "Center Snap" is approx. 4 inches. Each of the outer 'horizontal slots' are approx. one inch wide.
The Clear Shield is approx. 6.5 inches from the black 'Sun Visor' part of the shield to the bottom (See photo no. 2).
