From my personal collection ~ group of 3 vintage sheep. Ewe with her 2 lambs. Age unknown. Handmade and primitive in nature. Farm models / school project / 4H project / toys?? Quite unique and could easily be one-of-a-kind. Each is made of a flannel fabric with fleecy wool sewn to their bodies. They have painted facial and feet accents. There is a heavy wire in the legs so they can stand. Glass headed pins for eyes. Ears are some sort of paper backed, flannel type fabric and eyes are backed by this same fabric. Well made! Mama even has a bell at her neck. She measures approximately 13 1/2" high and 17" long. One lamb measures 7" high and 8 3/4" long, while the other 7 1/4" high and 9" long. All have soiling, signs of wear, wear to paint and stains. They have a presence of their own, and display beautifully. Could be displayed with dolls, vintage toys or by themselves. They would make an excellent addition to any collection!
