Vtg 1950s Modernist BRUTALIST Sterling Silver Handmade BUN COVER with HAIR PIN SNOOD. Bun cover snood measures 3.5" diameter and is 1.75" tall. The twisted wire stick pin is 7.75" long. This is a extraordinary piece that would look great with the tarnish patina it has or a high shine polish for greater contrast. We had a hard time deciding whether or not to sell this. Some of the styling is indicative of Claire Falkenstein, but we could not find any evidence that she did these kinds of snoods.
